Surveys

Traffic surveys generally based on Miovision camera technology allows even quite complicated junctions to be surveyed to a very high degree of accuracy (99.6%) which is far better than that achieved by other manual methods. Due to the reduced reliance of staff, survey costs can be kept down, particularly for more complex junctions that would traditionally have required large numbers of staff.

Manual speed surveys are carried out using a speed gun and follows appropriate Government guidance on the best practice for carrying out such surveys. For lengthier speed surveys that require Automatic Traffic Counters (ATC), Modal has created a strategic alliance with a firm that specializes in ATC's.

Questionnaire surveys are carried out either by asking questions manually or by creating on-line questionnaires and the results automatically emailed back.
